Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Thanet, Kent Contract: Full time, Long term Primary School SEN Teaching Assistant (KS2) - Thanet We are seeking a dedicated KS2 Primary SEN Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to students with SEN in Key Stage 2, ensuring that their unique learning needs are met effectively. You'll work closely with our SENCO and other staff members to develop and implement personalized learning plans, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and empowered to succeed. Your Role: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs and abilities of students with SEN in Key Stage 2. Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Collaborate with the SENCO and other staff members to assess students' progress and adjust learning plans as needed. Provide regular feedback and support to students, helping them to build confidence and develop essential academic and life skills. Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement, ensuring that all relevant documentation is kept up to date. Communicate effectively with parents/carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and any additional support requirements. Qualification and Requirements: Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably within a primary school setting. Excellent communication, interpersonal and behaviour management skills.
